Yemvelo means 'of nature' in isiZulu. We strive to ensure that all our products meet strict eco-friendly criteria, while obtaining superior performance results.
OUR INSPIRATION
African Eco-warriors
The blue crane is South Africa's national bird. Xhosa people call the blue crane "indwe". It is said that when a warrior showed bravery in battle, he was honoured by the chief, by having blue crane feathers put in is hair. These warriors were then known as men of "ugaba" (trouble), meaning that if trouble arose, they were the ones who could restore order.
We believe that everyone can be an eco-warrior, simply by making small changes in one's consumption habits.
